Endoneous laser ablation is a common treatment method used to close varicose veins using high-power laser beams. In this method, laser beams are sent into the varicose veins using fiber optic laser probes.
In laser applications, it is used in case of reflux through the saphenous vein or in the lower limbs of the body. It is indicated with laser features of 980-1470nm Diode Lasers.
Why Radial Fibers?
When combined with the laser source, this laser fiber radiates at 360 degrees and provides ideal endovenous thermal ablation. For these reasons, it is possible to deliver laser energy gently and evenly into the vascular lumen and to ensure closure of the vessel based on photothermal destruction.Perforation of the vascular wall and the resulting thermal irritation of the surrounding tissues are prevented, thus minimizing postoperative pain, ecchymosis and other side effects.
