Libro Non-Adhesive Embolization Agent (high density) is available in two different formulations, Libro 20 (20% EVOH) and Libro 34 (34% EVOH) Libro is a non-adhesive liquid embolizing agent consisting of transparent EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) copolymer dissolved in DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) and suspended micronized powdered tantalum that provides contrast for fluoroscopy imaging. Libro Embolizing Agent consists of a 1.5 ml Libro Embolizer vial, a 1.5 ml DMSO vial, two 1 ml application syringes and one 1 ml DMSO syringe. It is used with a DMSO-compatible delivery microcatheter indicated for use within the neurovasculature to access the embolization site.
