HOW DOES VEINBLOCK® WORK?
Treatment with VEINBLOCK® is planned based on the patient’s venous anatomy and the physician’s clinical assessment.
1. Vein Assessment
The venous structure and target veins are assessed using ultrasound imaging.
2. Treatment of the Main Vein
In suitable patients, the targeted venous segment is non-thermally occluded using VENEX® technology.
3. Treatment of Varicose and Spider Veins
Foam prepared with SCLEROFOAM® is applied to the targeted vein segments according to the treatment plan.
4. Integrated Treatment Approach
VENEX® and SCLEROFOAM® technologies can be used as a complementary system for the treatment of different vein segments.
