The system supports the controlled and homogeneous foaming of the sclerosing agent, aiming to provide a more standardized and repeatable application process compared to manual foam preparation methods.
Controlled Foam Technology
The SCLEROFOAM® device helps ensure homogeneous mixing of the sclerosing agent thanks to a special mixing mechanism inside the foam preparation capsule.
The 6-bladed magnetic mixing apparatus inside the capsule facilitates more effective contact between the liquid and gas, aiding in the formation of microbubbles.
The device can operate at adjustable speeds of up to 5,000 rpm during foam preparation.
Foam Stability for Up to 5–6 Minutes
Foam prepared with SCLEROFOAM® is designed to maintain the same density for approximately 5–6 minutes after being dispensed from the device.
The foam reaches its maximum volume in approximately 30 seconds, enabling a fast and controlled preparation process prior to the procedure.
Automated and Standardized Preparation
SCLEROFOAM® automates the foam preparation process, providing the physician with a more controlled and reproducible preparation process.
Different operating programs can be created via the touchscreen, and personalized treatment programs can be defined.
